Despite a lack of goals at both ends, this game saw us grind out another point, this time against league leaders A Class. It was always going to be a tight affair, our opposition unbeaten and flying high, whilst our lads have hit a rich vein of form. Sal and Stan performed brilliantly again at the back, our midfield worked hard and Ekow kept chasing and threatening throughout. We told the boys after the game it's not always about scoring tons of goals and winning by rugby scores - sometimes we have to get our heads down and work hard for eachother as a team.
And that's exactly what we done tonight. Leaving with a point was hugely satisfying. Cal pulled off a couple of fine saves at the end of the game, ensuring a draw and another point to keep us in the top division for next season's campaign. Well done everybody!
